The admissions process is simple and transparent and outlined in brief below. You will be guided every step of the way by our friendly Admissions Manager, Mrs Holly Dawson.

We do not have a catchment area and we welcome children of mixed abilities and many talents. Children are welcome to join us at any time during the school year and into any year group, subject to a place being available.

Please do not hesitate to contact Holly Dawson on 01329 666017 or complete the online enquiry form and we shall be in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.

Step 2

Visit us

Visit us for a guided tour of the school and to meet the Headmistress.

Step 3

Register your child

Please complete our online registration form. This will take approximately 20 minutes, though you can start it, save it and return to it later.

You will need to first create an account and can do this by clicking here. This is a one-time account set-up and takes a few moments. Shortly after, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to set your password. Once this is complete, you can log-in and register your child/ren at a time to suit you.

You can click here to return to your account at any time.

When you register you will be asked to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £150. Payment can be made online by Bacs transfer, over the phone or by cheque made payable to Meoncross School. Holly is on hand to help you through every stage of the registration process.

Step 4

Attend taster days

Children are invited to join us for two taster days with their peer group, during which time they will take part in lessons and activities, and their teacher will observe their academic and social skills. Parents are invited to a post assessment meeting when a verbal offer of a place may be made.

Step 5

Receive an offer

Offers for places in the Juniors are sent at the end of August, the year prior to entry.

We also run a rolling admissions process throughout the year and consider applications to start mid-year, subject to availability.

To accept your child’s place, please return the signed contract, relevant paperwork, and refundable deposit at least 48 hours prior to their start date.

Step 6

Moving up afternoon

To aid their smooth transfer to Meoncross, during the summer term prior to entry, new joiners are invited to attend a moving up afternoon with their new class and teacher.
