Celebrating International School Meals day
Pupils and staff have been treated to a delicious spread of lunch choices from around the world. Chef Debbie and her team cooked up dishes from across the world, introducing pupils to new flavours and textures which they thoroughly enjoyed.
In homage to overseas Cognita schools in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Brazil and Spain, and with particular reference to our visiting students from Chile, the main course menu included such delights as Thai green curry, paella, chicken meatballs in broth with noodles, stir fried vegetables, empanadas and Thai rice.
For dessert, a choice between Brazilian carrot cake or English trifle.
