Reception have been creating story maps to assist them in their storytelling. The children created their own stories, using describing words such as ‘nibbling’ and ‘buzzing’ and showed great cooperation skills as they worked in pairs to retell the story of the ‘The Crunching Munching Caterpillar’.
Milly in Year 6 has worked extremely well in History over the last two terms. Her newspaper report about the bombing of Pearl Harbor was a particular highlight and demonstrated the talent that she has in this area of the curriculum.
Eleven Year 7 pupils achieved excellent scores in their Latin assessments, each scoring over 90%. The assessments tested their understanding of Latin vocabulary, grammar and translation skills.
