We are very proud to be a through school for children aged 2.5 - 16 years, meaning we can welcome children into our school at any point in their educational journey. This could be at a natural key stage transition point such as starting 'big school' in Reception, Juniors in Year 3, or Upper School in Year 7, or anything in between.
Academic achievement is high, but so is our focus on wellbeing, as we know that happy children are high achieving children. We nurture our pupils and develop the characteristics and qualities we know they will need to build bright futures.

We were ranked 21st nationally in Times Parent Power Guide in 2025, and we have a proven track record of achieving excellence when it comes to academic results. Our pupils routinely achieve results well above the national average, from our Early Years to key Primary stages and GCSE results.

Emotional intelligence is just as important as academic achievement and we want our pupils to be confident, compassionate and capable young people. We believe it’s crucial to develop a child’s character through teaching transferable skills that will help them to thrive in the future.

Year 6 stepped into the shoes of real-life detectives during an exciting Forensic Science Day. 👩🔬👨🔬
Upon arriving at school, they were met with a shocking crime scene that set the stage for a day of mystery and investigation. Working together as a team, the pupils gathered evidence, cracked clues, and conducted interviews with a range of suspicious characters. 🧪🧫
The investigation culminated in a dramatic courtroom trial, where each group presented a compelling case to the jury, arguing who they believed was guilty.
Tensions ran high as the true culprit finally stepped forward, revealing the motive behind the crime! 👩⚖️
Forensic Science Day is always such an immersive and exciting day, and it was wonderful to see the pupils so engaged and enthusiastic throughout the day. Thank you to all staff, parents, and Upper School actors who made it such a fun day. 🔍💡

It all begins in Nursery, where our youngest learners dive into hands-on exploration and discovery. From their very first sessions, children take part in beach cleaning, gently introduced to the values of environmental responsibility and sustainability, lessons that stay with them as they grow. 🏖♻

Year 9 Design and Technology ⚒️💙
Their current project has introduced them to basic electronic circuits, soldering techniques, while encouraging aesthetic design choices influenced by nature and Japanese culture.
The new space and addition of new machines has been truly revitalised the Design and Technology department, opening up a wealth of new opportunities for pupils, allowing them to take on more ambitious projects and develop their skills as designers and makers.
