A child's educational journey should be as unique as they are. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach whereby every child has the individual attention they need to thrive and succeed both in and out of the classroom. At Meoncross, every child is safe to say ‘I can be the best possible ME’.
We are very proud to be a through school for children aged 2.5 - 16 years, meaning we can welcome children into our school at any point in their educational journey. This could be at a natural key stage transition point such as starting 'big school' in Reception, Juniors in Year 3, or Upper School in Year 7, or anything in between.
Academic achievement is high, but so is our focus on wellbeing, as we know that happy children are high achieving children. We nurture our pupils and develop the characteristics and qualities we know they will need to build bright futures.

We were ranked 10th nationally in Times Parent Power Guide in 2026, and we have a proven track record of achieving excellence when it comes to academic results. Our pupils routinely achieve results well above the national average, from our Early Years to key Primary stages and GCSE results.
Holistic Approach
Emotional intelligence is just as important as academic achievement and we want our pupils to be confident, compassionate and capable young people. We believe it’s crucial to develop a child’s character through teaching transferable skills that will help them to thrive in the future.

Meoncross School was ranked 10th in The Times Parent Power Schools Guide for 2026. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and to have had the exceptional work of our pupils and staff recognised in such a prestigious publication.
We have placed 10th in the ‘Top independent secondary schools with no sixth forms’ category. The Guide is compiled based on examination results.

🌊✨ Starfish and Reception had another fantastic Beach School adventure last week!
From exploring the shoreline to discovering exciting treasures, every visit brings new opportunities for learning, curiosity, and fun. 🐚🔍
We also start the session by revisiting our beach safety rules and talking about how we can care for the environment around us. The children also take part in a litter pick, helping to keep our coastline clean and beautiful. 🚮💚
Beach School is a wonderful way to encourage teamwork, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of nature and the outdoors. 🌟🌊

🎉 Little Lagooners Holiday Club - Open to All!
Looking for a fun, safe, and active way to keep your child entertained this Half Term? Little Lagooners, based at Meoncross School in Stubbington, is open to all children aged 2.5 to 11!
🗓️ Dates: 26 - 29 May
🕗 Times: Variety of sessions from 8am to 6pm
✅ Flexible Booking: Up to 48 hours in advance – no contract needed
💷 Pricing: Available on our website (includes discount for booking five full days in a week and sibling discount)
🎨 Activities Include: Arts & Crafts, Sports, Themed Fun, Games and Baking
👩🏫 Run by qualified Primary Teachers and Level 3 Childcare Professionals, who are all part of the Meoncross team. All staff are first aid trained, and the club has access to full school facilities, including the sports field.

🌊🤖 Recently we took two teams to visit Saab Seaeye to take part in the exciting Global Underwater Challenge, organised by the @thesmallpeicetrust
The day began with an inspiring introduction to the Trust and the event sponsors, including Saab, before the teams got straight to work designing, building, and coding their own Rover (an uncrewed robot designed to collect information and plastic from the seabed) 🌍♻️
Throughout the challenge, our students demonstrated fantastic teamwork, creativity, resilience, and problem-solving skills as they tackled some very tricky coding tasks. 💻✨
To finish the day, each team confidently delivered a 60-second pitch in front of eight other schools, showcasing and promoting their Rover designs. 🎤👏
Although we didn’t take home the top prize this time, both teams had an incredible experience, learnt so much, and represented the school brilliantly. We’re already looking forward to hopefully returning next year for another chance to compete! 🌟

Last week, Mrs Ebery celebrated an incredible 25 years at Meoncross 🎉
Since joining in 2001, she has been a true pillar of the school 💙 Her leadership has inspired generations of pupils, some who are now parents of children at Meoncross today 👏
Over the years, there have been countless trips, milestones, and memorable moments but, in her own words, her favourite part is that over the last 25 years, at the heart of Meoncross has always been a genuine sense of family 🏫❤️
We would like to send not only our heartfelt congratulations, but a huge thank you to Mrs Ebery for her dedication, care, and unwavering love for Meoncross over the past 25 years 🙏
