Welcome to Meoncross School

A child's educational journey should be as unique as they are. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach whereby every child has the individual attention they need to thrive and succeed both in and out of the classroom. At Meoncross, every child is safe to say ‘I can be the best possible ME’.

We are very proud to be a through school for children aged 2.5 - 16 years, meaning we can welcome children into our school at any point in their educational journey. This could be at a natural key stage transition point such as starting 'big school' in Reception, Juniors in Year 3, or Upper School in Year 7, or anything in between.

Academic achievement is high, but so is our focus on wellbeing, as we know that happy children are high achieving children. We nurture our pupils and develop the characteristics and qualities we know they will need to build bright futures.

Excellent Academics

We were ranked 21st nationally in Times Parent Power Guide in 2025, and we have a proven track record of achieving excellence when it comes to academic results. Our pupils routinely achieve results well above the national average, from our Early Years to key Primary stages and GCSE results.

Holistic Approach

Emotional intelligence is just as important as academic achievement and we want our pupils to be confident, compassionate and capable young people. We believe it’s crucial to develop a child’s character through teaching transferable skills that will help them to thrive in the future.

We Are Meoncross

We have a strong family ethos, and instil a sense of great pride in our school community. We look after, support and encourage each other to always be our best.

A place to belong...

At Meoncross, we often talk about the right school being “a feeling”, and in our school film we wanted to convey what a special and unique feeling there is at our school.

We hope you enjoy watching our film, and we look forward to welcoming you to experience Meoncross in person if you would like to find out more.

“Family is our central value and that means we are accepting, that we are kind to each other, we seek to understand and appreciate each other.”

⭐ Student Spotlight ⭐

A massive well done to Harry (Year 10) and Luca (Year 9), who competed in the annual Warsash Tennis Club Championship over the weekend.

While Alcaraz and Sinner were battling it out on Centre Court at @wimbledon , Harry and Luca were making their own mark on the court - successfully defending their Junior Doubles title from last year! 🏆

The duo then faced off in the Junior Singles Final after topping their qualifying groups earlier in the month. Harry emerged as the winner, but it was a fantastic display of skill, competitiveness, and sportsmanship from both players.

To top it all off, Harry also claimed victory in the Men’s Members Doubles Final, partnering with one of the club coaches and coming through three tough knockout rounds.

Well done, boys - an outstanding achievement! 🎾👏

Meet our Head

I hope it will be clear to you how important our values are to us as a community; we genuinely strive to live by them seeing ourselves as a family where optimism and kindness stand shoulder to shoulder with opportunities and high academic achievement.

Just like any family, we know that every child has their strengths and their struggles, and we encourage and support them all, whilst genuinely appreciating and understanding the individuals they are.

Only by getting this mix right, can we hope to ensure that all our pupils leave Meoncross ready to flourish in this constantly evolving world of ours.
