We inspire our pupils to aim high
The standards of education offered at Meoncross are very high indeed as we embed our value of achievement throughout the school; pupils regularly and consistently exceed our expectations across all subjects.
Our close relationships help us to build pupils' confidence as they face up to challenges in lessons, flexing their wings in a safe environment, which in turn builds their resilience
and self-belief.
Outstanding results
Academic achievement across all key stages at Meoncross exceeds national averages.
We are ambitious for all of our pupils and place great emphasis on encouraging pupils to think for themselves through problem solving and by exploring topics to gain greater understanding.
Bringing lessons to life
Topics are brought to life through inspirational teaching and extensive co-curricular programmes.
Whether it is a themed day, a visit or a workshop, physical experiences and immersive learning help to fire the imagination and add an extra dimension to classroom-based learning.
Our amazing teaching team
Our teachers are experts in their fields and use the best mix of traditional and innovative teaching methods, underpinning an approach which drives accelerated progress.
They know our pupils very well and know how to get the best out of them. They work hard to inspire, support and enthuse our pupils and we are all proud of the family ethos that is palpable throughout our school.
Keeping pupils on track
Staff are passionate about developing pupils' academic progress alongside their wellbeing, and are committed to carefully monitoring the pupil's journey as they progress through the school.
Academic challenge
We are ambitious about our pupils learning and achievement, and we give them the tools, support and encouragement to achieve the best possible outcomes.
We want them to think and learn independently, to be curious and go beyond the classroom learning.

Head of Meoncross School, Sarah Ebery said;
“We continue to be delighted with the achievements of our young people, where year after year they exceed our expectations and impress us with their commitment to all matters academic across every subject. Many combining those efforts with extra-curricular achievements at a very high level within Sport, Music, Drama and Service. With nearly all bound for local Sixth Form Colleges, I know they will follow previous alumni in topping league tables at A level or other measures and be a huge asset to those communities.
Meoncross is a community first and foremost and the support of our excellent teachers and highly supportive families underpins the hard work of our students.”
